How do the formulas work? 

The Densifying Collection is powered by three main active ingredients: Capixyl™, Redensyl™, and Pea Sprout Extract. All three ingredients featured in the Densifying Collection balance and nourish the scalp, replenish fragile and brittle thinning hair, increase density, fullness and body, and create an optimal scalp environment for healthy hair growth.

Do I have to use all three products together? 

We recommend using all three products together as a consistent regimen to achieve the maximum benefits of the collection.

How often should I use the products?

We recommend using the regimen at least 3 times per week for the best results. It’s also important to use the products continuously for three months and beyond to maintain results. The Densifying Treatment Spray should be used on clean, damp hair and can be massaged directly into the scalp after every hair wash.

How long does it take to see results? 

We recommend using the full Densifying product regimen for a minimum of 3 months to begin seeing results.

Are the products safe to use beyond three (3) months?

Yes, the products are safe for extended use and should be used continuously (and beyond 3 months) to maintain results.

If I don’t have thinning hair, can I still use these products?

Yes, the Densifying Collection is safe to use on all hair types. However, it was designed specifically for those with thinning strands to help hair look and feel fuller with continued use.

If I have an oily scalp and am also experiencing hair thinning, which Serene Scalp Collection should I choose?

Depending on your needs, it is safe to mix and match products from the Serene Scalp Collection. The products in the Densifying regimen should be used all together at least 3 times per week for the best results to achieve thicker/fuller looking hair.

Does this collection include the Côte d’Azur fragrance? 

The Serene Scalp Densifying Shampoo and Conditioner include the Cote d’Azur fragrance. The Serene Scalp Densifying Treatment Spray is fragrance-free. 

Is the Densifying Treatment Spray new or has it been reformulated?

The Densifying Treatment Spray was formerly offered as the Serene Scalp Thickening Treatment Spray. This product has now been renamed and repackaged but has not been reformulated. It still lives in the Serene Scalp family, but has been incorporated as part of the new Densifying Collection to further maximize the benefits of the new Densifying Shampoo and Conditioner and fits more intuitively within this line of hair-densifying products.

Is the packaging recyclable? 

The Densifying Shampoo & Conditioner bottles are made with 100% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic and are recyclable. The Densifying Treatment Spray bottle and cap are made with 100% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic & are recyclable. The paper-based outer cartons of all products in the Densifying Collection are recyclable, made from materials certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
